Thirty Students Graduate from EBI Summer Program

On Friday, July 8, The Entrepreneur Business Institute Summer Program’s Closing Ceremony took place at the UVI ACC142 in the Administration and Conference Center.

A total of 30 students thoughtfully selected from all public and private high schools throughout the Territory officially completed the three-week Entrepreneur Business Institute Program, where they had the opportunity to experience an intensive curriculum focused on business innovation and entrepreneurship, formulated business plans, attended business-related field trips and received mentorship from key UVI professors, as well as many successful entrepreneurs.

In addition the business offerings, the students also participated in an annual Community Service Day, where they served as expert tour guides, mentor and buddies to children from Camp Shriver, participated in an etiquette training luncheon and visited several local businesses and agencies during their program.

Sponsored by International Capital and Management Company in partnership with the University of the Virgin Islands’ School of Business, the 30 excited students received their awards and certificates in the company of family and friends as they showcased their accomplishments achieved throughout the course of the program.
