The U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Association Lady Eagles have arrived on St. Kitts and Nevis for their final match of the second round of the CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football) W Qualifiers.  On Tuesday, April 12, the team is looking forward to a competitive match and its first win of the qualifiers.

The three previous qualifying matches were at home against Costa Rica and Curaçao, and away at Guatemala, and all of them ended in defeat. When the April international window closes, the winning teams of the six groups will qualify for the 2022 CONCACAF W Championship, which takes place in July.   The winner and second place winners will qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, scheduled to be played in Australia and New Zealand in the summer of 2023.

The match kicks off at 4 p.m., April 12, at the Warner Park in Basseterre, St. Kitts.
