In lieu of the 22.8% distribution of Retroactive Wage Compensation, the V.I. Division of Personnel will host a series of retroactive in-person outreach sessions territory-wide. The first session will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Omar Brown Sr. Fire Station in Sugar Estate.
These sessions will give eligible recipients — such as active GVI employees, separated GVI employees, retirees and survivors – the opportunity to receive hands-on assistance with how to receive the 2022 Retroactive Wage Payout.
The division highly encourages eligible recipients to visit the 2022 Retroactive Wage Distribution Portal on the Division of Personnel’s website at www.dopusvi.org/retro to view their 2022 payout amount.
If you plan to attend the Retro In-Person Outreach Sessions, please know that you are required to provide your last name and last six digits of your social security number.
Please note that, by law, the Division of Personnel is not permitted to share personal information of any kind (i.e., social security, telephone number, address, etc.).
Active, separated Government of the Virgin Islands (GVI) employees or retirees and survivors are eligible to receive retroactive payments. If the person is deceased, it is required that the last name and last six digits of his/her social security number are provided. Visit and review the website for further instructions and the necessary documents needed to complete processing.
