VI Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Council Plans Events During Awareness Month

Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Council

The Virgin Islands Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Council (DVSAC) asks the public to join it in observance of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. DVSAC’s initiatives help to raise public awareness about domestic violence and to educate the territory on how to prevent it as well as to share resources available to those impacted by domestic violence.

The organization’s official launch will begin with Gov. Albert Bryan’s signing of DVSAC’s Proclamation, committing to the support and end of the public health crisis of domestic violence. This proclamation calls attention to domestic violence in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Be a part of these events or become a volunteer.
