Virgin Islands Free Legal Answers is a virtual legal advice clinic for individuals who cannot afford an attorney. The service is a cooperative effort of the Virgin Islands Bar Association and the American Bar Association. The Virgin Islands joins 41 other U.S. states and territories offering this service.
Through this service, volunteer attorneys answer legal questions submitted by members of the public on a wide range of civil law issues, including consumer debt, personal injury, worker’s compensation, school discipline, housing and family law, among others. The service does not accept questions on issues of criminal law.
