The V.I. Water and Power Authority reported that customers on several feeders in the St. Thomas-St. John district are experiencing an electrical service interruption.
Plant personnel are addressing generation issues at the Harley Power Plant and service restoration. According to an alert sent by WAPA at around 1 p.m, service was expected to be restored by 2 p.m., but as of 5 p.m service had not been restored for all customers.
The outage occurred at 12:36 pm, and affected feeders include: 6A, 7A, 7B, 7C, 7E, 8A, 9C and 9E.
