Woman Arrested for Credit Card Information Theft, Spending Spree

On Wednesday at 6:19 p.m., police arrested 29-year-old Nandei McIntosh at The Fred Hotel, without incident. McIntosh was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card, access to a computer for fraudulent purposes, and grand larceny.

Leading to the arrest, on April 1, an investigation led police to believe that on Feb. 15, McIntosh allegedly took a picture of an individual Bank of St. Croix credit card and made several online purchases totaling $8,370.09, without the owner’s permission, the V.I. Police Department report.

McIntosh’s bail was set at $20,000. Unable to post bail, she was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending an Advice of Rights Hearing scheduled for Friday.
