In the February 4-10 issue of the St. John  Tradewinds, the article titled “Eighth Annual St. John Arts Festival to Focus on Local, Handmade Goods,” neglected to name exhibit coordinator extraordinaire Yolanda Morton as a contributor.

Can you imagine trying to sort out the booth locations for up to 25 applications from the many different exhibitors at the Arts Festival Food and Crafts exhibition in Franklin Powell Sr. Park in Cruz Bay — for a whole week — without creating rampant animosity and discontent?

Well, one lady has managed to do it for the past seven years and keep her cool too — Yolanda Morton.

She is a highly industrious person who herself has a small store, Tropical Delights, in Raintree Court Cruz Bay which is in itself a small Caribbean arts and crafts exhibition with many of her goods hand-made by her. You will see her at booth 12 in the park during the festival.
