Tails Are Waggin’ in Anticipation of Wagapalooza Emcee Roger Morgan

Roger Morgan, DJ from Paradise 93.5 radio in the Virgin Islands, has graciously agreed to be the emcee for this year’s Wagapalooza on Saturday, May 12, at 5 p.m. at the Winston Wells ball field in Cruz Bay.

Bonny Corbeil, an Animal Care Center Director, pulled out all the stops when she got Morgan to agree to do the hosting for this year’s Wagapalooza.

“Roger will be a huge plus for Waga this year,” said Corbeil, a Wagapalooza committee member. “Attendance should hit an all time high.”

Morgan has a very colorful history in performing and the media. He began his career in rodeos at the age of two, did some TV shows in the 1970s, and then came to St. Croix to Paradise 93.5 FM radio.

This will be the third year Wagapalooza will be in Cruz Bay. It originally was held at Skinny Legs in Coral Bay, but quickly out grew that venue.

Waga is also being held in the evening in order to be more pet friendly. It’s much cooler for thet dogs at 5 p.m., and the show is all about the dogs and families and having fun.

Don’t forget there are more categories this year in order to get more entries. So, get working on those dog tricks and enter favorite friends to win some great prizes. The entry fee is only $10 per category, and it’s free for kids under 16.
