The government-led functional exercise is a part of the National Preparedness for Response Exercise Program required under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990.
The VI National Guard is making it easier to book COVID-19 vaccination appointments online for persons who want to be vaccinated.

The VA Caribbean Healthcare System will be offering COVID-19 vaccinations to groups of veterans. St. Croix veterans will have the first opportunity on Jan. 27 and Jan. 28. Coordination is currently being finalized for the St. Thomas-St. John District and will be published once completed.
“We project that this platform will be the missing link as it relates to our veterans being notified without missing a beat. We encourage our veterans to access this platform as soon as possible,” said Director Patrick Farrell.
